A handful of Vancouver business owners have threatened to take legal action if a bike lane is approved in Kitsilano.
The lane is proposed for Point Grey Road and the Cornwall avenue corridor.
If the plan goes ahead, Point Grey Road will be closed to vehicle traffic, which isn’t sitting well with several business owners.
In a survey conducted earlier this month, the Kitsilano Chamber of Commerce found that 62 per cent of respondents do not want that street closed to commuter traffic.
City Council will make a decision on the bike lane next month.
