TORONTO – Police are searching for three men in connection with a shooting in Scarborough that left a man dead.
On Thursday afternoon, just before 3 p.m., police responded to reports of shooting on Mantis Road in Scarborough.
Police found Surendra Vaithilingam, 38, dead inside his home on Mantis Road.
Police are now looking for three men who were seen fleeing the area in a four-door North American sedan.
On Friday, police released security footage shot from the other side of Mantis Road that shows three men walking between two homes.
A short time later the men are again seen running from between the houses and then north on Mantis Road.

The specific make of the vehicle has not been determined but police say it has faded, medium-blue paint and was parked on Bobolink Avenue prior to the shooting.
Police are requesting the public turn over any security camera footage.
Police have yet to name any suspects and are continuing to investigate.
