OSHAWA, Ont. – A California man who is visiting a Christian high school east of Toronto as a guest speaker has been arrested after a student alleged he inappropriately touched her.
Durham regional police arrested the man Thursday after a student came forward with allegations involving three separate incidents at Kingsway College in Oshawa on Wednesday and Thursday.
Christopher Quevedo, 30, of Paradise, Calif., is charged with sexual assault.
Police say Quevedo is being held for a bail hearing.
Kingsway College is a private Christian high school owned and operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Canada.
