The provincial government has committed $160,000 to an anti-violence program supported by the BC Lions.
Ministers Stephanie Cadieux and Shirley Bond made the announcement at a press conference today for “Be More Than A Bystander,” which hopes to break the silence of violence against women.

The organization says 60,000 physical or sexual assaults are committed against women in B.C. every year.
