Hamilton Police are appealing to the public for information after responding to reports of shots fired on the west mountain.
Just after 3 a.m. on Monday, officers located a male with minor injuries, an unoccupied vehicle with damage and shell casings on Greendale Drive.
Police say the male victim was uncooperative with the investigation.
At this time, the identity, whereabouts and the role of the injured male in the incident are unknown.
Greendale Drive is in the area of Garth Street and the Lincoln Alexander Expressway.
