Following the collision, Kynock says she was trapped inside her vehicle and screaming in pain, unable to move. That’s when she said a man she never met before came to her rescue.

The man helped Kynock free her legs, call her mother to inform her about the accident and held her hand until first repsonders arrived. The only thing she knew about the man was that he was a retired RCMP officer.

Kynock says she didn’t get the man’s name at first – or the name of the other people who helped her, so she took it upon herself to post about the accident on Facebook and encourage anyone who may know the identity of the good samaritians to come forward.
