Kelowna could be nearing end of dry spell
If no rain falls by midnight tonight (Friday), Kelowna will tie a record set back in 2003 for the longest dry spell since records started being kept.
The last time it rained in the city was June 28.
The province has been under a slow moving weather pattern, but a change could be on the way.
A cooler front is expected to move in over the weekend.
Saturday’s high is expected to be 29.
Sunday’s high is 29 as well, but thundershowers are expected in the afternoon.
A mix of sun and cloud and a high of 20 is expected Monday and Tuesday.
