Police in Halifax say a number of firearms were stolen yesterday evening during a break and enter, and then were later recovered during an arrest.
Investigators say they responded to a break and enter of a residence on the 6300 of London Street at 5:40 p.m.

During the investigation they learned long-barreled firearms had gone missing.
Police recovered the four guns when they arrested a man last night and he is scheduled to appear in Halifax court today to face charges in the matter.
