Police seek suspect vehicle in English St. homicide

City police have identified the man killed in London’s second homicide case of the year.

It was around 10:30 p.m. Monday when a 36-year-old man was shot at a home at 504 English St. He was transported to hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

On Wednesday morning, London Police identified the victim as Mark Andrew McCullagh of London.

Officers say an autopsy was performed on Tuesday and McCullagh’s primary cause of death was caused by a gunshot wound.

London Police say there are three suspects in this case that remain at large. So far, investigators have only said two of the men are black, one is white and they’re all in their early to mid-20s. It’s believed they fled the scene on English St. in a red, four-door pick-up truck.

Police released an image Wednesday afternoon of a red truck similar to the one being sought. The vehicle involved, police said, may have white lettering in the area above the rear wheels.

Officers are appealing to the public to report any information they may have about this case, no matter how insignificant it may seem.

McCullagh’s death is London’s second homicide of the year.

Last week, 29-year-old James Willits died after being attacked inside his sixth floor apartment unit at 297 Base Line Road West on Monday, March 2nd. Police arrested a 30-year-old man on a charge of second degree murder that same day, but are still looking for 22-year-old Steven Barry Antone. He’s wanted on charges of second degree murder and robbery.
