RCMP in Red Deer are looking for two people who tried to rob a man at gunpoint as he left a bank on the morning of April 13.
Police said the man was approached by a man and a woman after he exited the north Red Deer bank and got into his vehicle at about 6:15 a.m.
The couple asked him for a cigarette and then demanded money while the man pointed a handgun at him.
At that point they said the victim accelerated out of the parking lot.
The suspects were seen leaving the area on foot.
The male suspect is described as:
- 5’6” tall
- About 20 years old
- Wearing red track pants and a black coat and hat
The woman is:
- 5’6” tall
- Heavy-set build
- Shoulder-length straight black hair
- Wearing a black hoodie with several rings on her right hand
