Police say a man in his 20s was stabbed in a plaza at the corner of Jane Street and Wilson Avenue at around 2 p.m. ET, Saturday afternoon.
The victim suffered multiple stab wounds but is said to be in stable condition. Police described the incident as an attempted robbery.

“Officers are currently in the area and looking at video, trying to speak to witnesses and determine where exactly it occurred,” said Constable Allyson Douglas-Cook with the Toronto police.
Investigators have yet to release suspect information and are unsure if there are one or multiple suspects involved.
