Police are investigating a dog bite incident in Surrey that sent one person to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
According to Surrey RCMP, a dog escaped from inside a home in the 13600-block of 56A Avenue while its owner was talking to someone at the front door.
The escaped canine then got into a fight with two other leashed dogs nearby.
The owner of the escaped dog tried to break up the fight and was subsequently bitten on the arm by one of the leashed dogs.
All dogs were brought under control and the victim was taken to hospital. Police said the breed of the dogs and the extent of the injuries are currently unknown.
Surrey RCMP officers and Animal Control are investigating the incident.
