WINNIPEG — The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed two players to their practice roster on Tuesday.

The Bombers announced they’ve signed receivers Kieren Duncan and Quinshad Davis. Both players are fresh out of college.

Duncan, 22, played four seasons with the Colorado State Pueblo ThunderWolves where he played receiver and returner. In his final season he tallied 622 receiving yards with six touchdowns and was chosen for the All-RMAC First Team Offense and First Team Kick Returner. No one can question Duncan’s speed after he posted a blazing time of 4.29 seconds in the 40-yard dash at his pro day. To put that time into perspective, Georgia’s Keith Marshall recorded the fastest time at this year’s NFL Scouting Combine with a time of 4.31. It was good enough to earn Duncan a tryout with the Chicago Bears, but he was released in August.

Davis, 22, also went undrafted in the 2016 NFL Draft after playing four years with the North Carolina Tar Heels. He started 47 of 52 games and his 25 career touchdowns set a school record. He attended training camp with the Detroit Lions before being waived in early September.
