Halifax Regional Police are searching for a woman after a man was found suffering from stab wounds early Sunday morning.
Police say just before 5:00 a.m., a taxi driver found a man bleeding on Gottingen Street.
The victim told officers he’d met up with a young woman who he’d met the night before.
The man said the woman produced a knife and demanded his wallet and cellphone. She then allegedly stabbed him three times in the arm and stomach area.
The victim was taken to hospital where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
No arrests have been made yet.
Police say the woman was last seen running north on Gottingen Street. She is described as being in her early 20s with long brown, curly hair and wearing a red shirt and white pants.
