Nearly two dozen campers are stranded in Squamish this morning after several of the mountain streams burst their banks.
The washout has blocked access along the Squamish Forest Service Road between the 22 kilometre and 24 kilometre points.

Several of the campers have walked out of the area to get supplies but their vehicles are stuck until the road is cleared.
Crews are working on building a detour that they hope will be operational by this evening.
Officials say all campers will be out by Friday at the latest.
