KELOWNA – Fire crews called in the RCMP after dousing a car fire in the Rutland area of Kelowna.
The car parked outside a vehicle repair shop on Froelich Road was engulfed in flames when fire fighters arrived just after midnight Monday.

A window of the shop was broken due to the heat and flames had spread inside.
Crews got through a door to extinguish the fire.
The building sustained minor damage as did a second parked car.
The blaze is suspicious in nature and police are investigating.
