Motorcyclist killed in collision on Alberta highway

A 32-year-old man is dead after colliding with a truck late Saturday night northeast of Calgary.

RCMP said a truck was turning off Range Road 285 onto Highway 564 eastbound when a motorcycle struck the side of the truck.

The driver of the motorcycle died at the scene. His identity hasn’t been released.

The two people inside the truck sustained minor injuries.

No charges have been laid but police believe alcohol and speed were factors in the collision.
