Alberta motorcyclist dies when bike hits back of truck in Brampton, Ont.

BRAMPTON, Ont. – Ontario Provincial Police say an Alberta man died when his motorcycle hit the back of a truck in Brampton, just west of Toronto.

Police say the motorcycle was travelling north on Highway 410 when it hit the five-tonne truck Monday morning at Steeles Avenue.

The driver of the motorcycle, Shaun Steve Smith, 32, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are trying to determine what caused the collision.
