WEST KELOWNA — Police are searching for two suspects involved in a break-in at a West Kelowna home.
RCMP say a man noticed his garage door was open as he was leaving for work on June 15.
He discovered his quad, dirt bike and gun safe were stolen.
When police interviewed neighbours, one of them had heard a loud noise at 4:30 a.m. and witnessed two men and a grey pick-up in front of the home.
The empty gun safe was later recovered on Glen Eagles Drive, where another witness saw two men drop the safe out of the truck.
The stolen items include:
- .307 Lever Action Winchester
- .308 Savage (with a compass carved into the stock)
- .270 Remington 700, a .30-06 Remington 700
- 12 gauge Remington shotgun
- a.303 British rifle
- assortment of .22’s
- a yellow 2001 500 cc Polaris Sportsman ATV with VIN 4XACH50A61A500615, BC license plate number 3B8931
- an orange dirt bike that’s 2006 KTM 250 SX with VIN VBKMXJ4386M003770, BC license plate number 0C3865
