PUNNICHY, SK – One female is deceased following a single vehicle accident in the rural municipality of Touchwood, SK.
Punnicy RCMP, Lestock Ambulance, and Lestock Fire & Rescue responded to a report of a collision on a gravel road at approximately 12:20 p.m. on Wednesday.
RCMP say members located a vehicle fully submerged in a slough. Crews entered the water and located an adult female inside. She was the only occupant of the vehicle.
The 47 year-old woman from George Gordon First Nation was pronounced dead on scene.
Punincy RCMP continue to investigate the incident in combination with Yorkton RCMP, Fort Qu’appelle RCMP and the Coroner’s office.
