Friends of 17-year-old Cole Marsh, who drowned cliff diving near Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge earlier this week, returned to the spot to pay tribute.

They released balloons, placed flowers and lit candles five days after he died.
They also installed a steel plaque on a rock next to a popular swimming spot in the park. The plaque reads “Oh let’s go,” which was Marsh’s favourite phrase. And “you died doing what you love. Rest easy, play hard. ”
Jeremy Diffner, one of Marsh’s close friends from childhood, says they created the plaque and memorial site so they could have a place to visit and remember him by.
It’s believed the body of the Grade 12 student from Coquitlam is stuck in the pool where he went down. The water is still too dangerous for RCMP divers. They’ve been using an underwater camera to try and locate him, but there is still no sign of the 17-year-old.
A group of Marsh’s friends have set up a GoFundMe page to help his parents cover the costs for the funeral.
