Driver killed in Dunbow Road crash south of Calgary

CALGARY – RCMP are investigating what may have caused a single vehicle rollover south of Calgary on Monday that killed one woman.

Emergency crews were called to the area of Dunbow Road (Township Road 220) and 80 Street S.E., just east of the Carnmoney Golf and Country Club, at around 8 a.m.

When they arrived, paramedics found an SUV with substantial damage which appeared to have lost control and rolled.

The driver, a woman in her 20s, was ejected from the vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other injuries were reported.

It’s unknown if speed or alcohol may have been factors in the rollover.
