WINNIPEG — Two women were arrested after they allegedly fled from police in a stolen car and on foot.
At approximately 2 a.m. on Wednesday Winnipeg police spotted a stolen Chevrolet Cruze with a number of people inside in the area of Gateway Road and Kimberly Avenue.
The driver of the Cruze tried outrunning police but ended up getting the vehicle stuck in a snowbank in the 600 block of Golspie Street. The occupants then decided to try their luck on foot.
Winnipeg police officers, including the canine unit tracked the suspects down after a short chase.

Patton was charged with possession of property obtained by crime, possession of a scheduled substance (methamphetamine) and failure to comply with probation.
