A man is in hospital with life threatening injuries after being struck in the head with an object at a party on Sunday night.
Halifax Regional Police were called to an apartment on the 6100-block of Lady Hammond Road Sunday shortly after 10 p.m.

There were a number of people in the apartment when an physical altercation broke out.
Police say they are interviewing three people and all parties were known to each other.
The major crimes unit is investigating.
No charges have been laid.
