CALGARY — A transit bus smashed into a southeast Calgary condo building, after colliding with a pickup truck Thursday afternoon.
It happened on McKenzie Towne Gate SE around 5:30 pm.
Residents said the impact shook the entire building.
Calgary police said some people involved in the crash were hurt, but their injuries were not life-threatening.
Witnesses told Global News they saw the pickup truck run a stop sign and collide with the bus, which then hit the building.
Police have not confirmed that.
The bus driver’s window was smashed, along with the windshield.
A number of emergency vehicles were at the scene.
