Oh brother.
Fire and ambulance crews in Surrey dealt with an unusual case Friday evening, when a man on the top floor of an aging apartment building fell halfway through a balcony he was standing on.
It left the man stuck in the middle of the balcony, and rescue crews fearful that the rest of the balcony could give way if they stood on it.
Using multiple ladders, firemen were able to reach the man and pull him out the balcony. He was transported to hospital, but his injuries aren’t believed to be life-threatening.
The apartment is in the 10700-block of 150th Street. The balcony collapse is under investigation.
