In Salmon Arm, the recommendation trustees will be looking at suggests closing Silver Creek Elementary and moving students to Salmon Arm West Elementary.

Right now Armstrong has two elementary schools with students in kindergarten through grade five, a middle school with grades six to eight students and a secondary school with students in grades nine to 12.
At a meeting on Tuesday, the school board could decide to move forward with some or all of the suggested changes. If the board does decide to move forward with closing or restructuring a school, there would be a 60 day consultation before any final decision was made.
Tuesday’s meeting is open to the public.
