RCMP searching for suspects after Imperial armed robbery

IMPERIAL, Sask. – Watrous RCMP is searching for two suspects after an armed robbery Thursday morning in Imperial, Sask.

At 11:20 a.m. on Jan. 28, RCMP say two men entered a financial institution and demanded cash. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, they fled the scene in an unknown direction.

No one was injured in the incident.

One suspect is described as 6’0″ with a slim build and the other is described as 5’6″ tall with a stocky build.

Both men were wearing camouflage face masks. One suspect was also wearing a red and black checkered coat or sweater while the second had a camouflage hooded jacket.

Road blocks were initially set up around Imperial but have since been removed. Police are continuing to investigate.
