A female suspect is in custody after a woman was stabbed in Brampton Thursday morning.
Peel police say they responded to the call around 8:35 a.m. at a residence on Rock Garden Trail.

It is alleged the stabbing was a result of a domestic related incident and no other suspects are being sought.
The victim was taken to hospital in critical but stable condition.
The age and identity of the woman has not been released.
