Police investigate sexual assault on Gottingen St. in middle of the day

HALIFAX – Police are investigating a sexual assault that happened on Monday on Gottingen Street.

At about 2:30 p.m., a man approached a woman who was walking up the street and touched her in a sexual manner over her clothes.

Officers responded to the scene quickly, but weren’t able to locate the suspect.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 60s, 5’6″ and wearing a dark grey parka with the hood up.
