Organizers of the event are asking those who plan to come to bring candles or flowers to lay as a memorial.
A book of condolences will be available for people to share their stories of grief or loss and to express their sympathy. The book will be sent to Russia’s ambassador to Canada.
Officials are still not saying exactly what brought the plane down.
