PENTICTON — A head-on collision in Penticton has claimed the life of a man.
It happened around 7 p.m. on Friday on Lakeside Road.
RCMP say a Kia and a Ford truck collided; the Kia was travelling north and the Ford was travelling south.
Both drivers became trapped in their vehicles and firefighters had to extricate the men from both vehicles.
The driver of the Kia was taken to hospital where he later died.
Police say the victim’s identity is not being released as the investigation into the accident continues.
