Lester B. Pearson warns against students joining teacher protests

When asked whether students should be involved in these sorts of strike actions she said “yes.”

The board sent out two letters, one to elementary parents and the other to high school parents, describing disruptions during negotiations.

The high school parents got the additional plea to ask students not to participate because there were rumours that students were planning to walk out.
