A Prince Albert, Sask. man was sentenced to life in prison for the second-degree murder of his son Tuesday. Larry McDougald pleaded guilty to the killing in court on Monday.
Terry McDougald, 45, was shot when he confronted his father over a property dispute in October 2013. The incident happened northeast of Prince Albert at a rural residence.
Other charges in connection to the incident were dropped.

McDougald will be eligible for parole in 10 years.
