15-year-old girl sexually assaulted at gunpoint in Toronto’s west end: police

TORONTO — Police are searching for a suspect after a 15-year-old girl was sexually assaulted at gunpoint in an apartment building in the city’s west end.

Police said the girl was approached by an armed man at about 9 p.m. Monday in the lobby of an apartment building in the Eglinton Avenue West and Scarlett Road area.

The man then sexually assaulted the girl before fleeing the scene in an unknown direction.

Police described the suspect as aged 18, having a fair complexion, standing 6’0″ and weighing about 150 pounds. He was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and black pants at the time of the alleged incident.
