WINNIPEG – The dreaded “F” word has returned to the forecast for parts of Western Manitoba.
Environment Canada has issued a frost advisory for that portion of the province.
It’s a warning for people to keep an eye on their plants, while some crops could potentially be destroyed by frost.
Temperatures are expected to reach the freezing mark after a ridge of high pressure builds into the western area of the province.
Frost is most likely over higher terrain and near the Saskatchewan border.
The following areas are under the frost advisory:
- Dauphin – Roblin – Winnipegosis
- Minnedosa – Neepawa – Russell – Riding Mountain National Park
- Swan River – Duck Mountain – Porcupine Provincial Forest
