WINNIPEG – Heavy rain and lightning has forced several teams to move or abandon Friday’s games.

The Winnipeg Goldeyes have canceled their four-game series finale against the Sioux Falls Canaries at Shaw Park. The game will not be made up. Those who bought tickets can exchange them at the box office for any of the Goldeyes’ remaining three games this season or any regular season home game next year.

Both the University of Winnipeg and University of Manitoba have moved their women’s soccer games indoors. The Bisons will now host the Thompson Rivers WolfPack in the Indoor Soccer Complex on Chancellor Matheson Road. The Wesmen will face the UBC Okanagan Heat at the U of W’s Rec Plex. Both matches will kick-off at 6pm.
