CALGARY – Alberta Health Services has lifted an air quality advisory issued in Calgary last week.
The advisory put into effect after smoke from western wildfires drifted into southern Alberta, causing air quality to deteriorate.
AHS said on Tuesday that air monitoring had shown that the Calgary Zone is no longer being impacted by smoke.
Environment Canada ended its poor air quality statement for Calgary on Monday.
