A 38-year-old man from Mission is in hospital with life-threatening injuries following an alleged stabbing in Chilliwack on Sunday morning.
Police responded to a complaint of a man that was stabbed during a disagreement between two groups of campers in the 11400-block of Gill Road.
BC Ambulance took the injured man to hospital and police took another man into custody, who was later released.
The police continued their investigation in the camping area and found the two groups of campers did not know one another, but believe the victim was targeted.
Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact the Chilliwack RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
