SWAN RIVER — RCMP are now investigating a fatal trailer fire at Starlite Trailer Court in Swan River as a homicide.
On Saturday just before 2 a.m., Swan River RCMP responded to a call of a residential fire at the trailer court.
When emergency crews arrived on scene the home was fully engulfed in flames. The body of 64-year-old Rene Distefano, also known as Rambler, was found inside. He was the lone resident of the trailer.

Swan River is approximately 500 kilometers north of Winnipeg.
