LAKE COUNTRY – An Alberta man has been charged with a criminal offense stemming from a Highway 97 crash in Lake Country.
Late on the night of August 4th last year, witnesses reported seeing a northbound Cadillac sedan pass by Duck Lake at an estimated 150 kilometres an hour.
Shortly afterwards, the driver lost control on a curve and crossed into the oncoming lanes striking a pickup truck.
The two occupants of the Cadillac suffered non-life threatening injuries. The truck driver was not hurt.
Cody Wade Kenith Pipe,25, has been charged with dangerous driving causing bodily harm.
Pipe makes his first appearance at the Kelowna law courts in July.
