TORONTO – A 24-year-old man has died of his injuries in hospital after being stabbed by his father at an east-end Toronto home early Thursday morning.
Toronto police say the incident happened around 6:30 a.m. in the area of Kingston Rd. and Birchmount Rd.
Police say the mother called 911 to report that her son was stabbed by her husband.

Toronto EMS say the victim was transported to a trauma centre without vital signs but later succumbed to his injuries.
Police say the victim’s father is in custody.
The motive behind the stabbing is under investigation by the police homicide unit.
