The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) is looking into a suspicious death at a residence in Surrey early Saturday morning.
According to statement by IHIT, Surrey RCMP responded to a call for assistance by BC Ambulance for a sudden death at a home in the 13800 block of Hansen Rd.

When they arrived, officers learned a 57-year-old man was found deceased by his roommates.
Police then arrested a man in connection with the incident. He was interviewed by IHIT investigators and then released without charges pending further investigation.
IHIT spokesperson Stephanie Ashton said they believe that the victim and the suspect knew each other.
