EDMONTON — Homicide detectives are investigating after a man’s body was found south of Government House Park Tuesday afternoon.
Edmonton police say the body was found near a riverbank south of the park near 99 Avenue and Groat Road.

Someone walking by made the disturbing discovery around 12:40 p.m.
The age of the deceased has not been determined and an autopsy has not been scheduled yet.
