SUMMERLAND — A Summerland man facing sex assault related charges involving a minor has pleaded guilty to one offense.
Joshua James Roberts, 38, was charged was charged late last year after police launched an investigation of sexual exploitation involving a teenage girl.
Roberts pleaded guilty Monday morning to sexual exploitation.
He was facing four other charges including possession of child porn but those charges are expected to be stayed.
The judge ordered a Pre-Sentence Report be prepared with a psychiatric component.
Roberts returns to court on May 27th.
