Mounties in Surrey are looking for a man they believe committed an indecent act near Clayton Heights Secondary school earlier this week.
It happened at approximately 12:30 p.m. on Monday in a trail area in the 7000-block of 188th St.
Officers received a phone call from a woman, who was walking her dog at the time.
She reported that the suspect did not say anything or approach her, but that it was obvious he wanted her to see him.
The man left the area on his bike riding eastbound on 68th Ave.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic man, approximately 20-years-old, with a slim build and short dark hair, wearing a brown hoody and shorts.
He was also riding a BMX style bike with orange coloured rims.
Surrey RCMP are also investigating two similar incidents that occurred near the same area two weeks ago.
On March 2 at approximately 1 p.m., Surrey RCMP received a report of a man committing an indecent act behind Clayton Heights Secondary.
In that case, the suspect was described as Caucasian, in his twenties, with a medium build, tattoos on his arms, wearing a grey hoodie and dark jeans riding a BMX bike.
In another incident on March 5, at approximately 8:30 a.m., it was reported a man was exposing himself to two students in a laneway north of 70th Ave between 190th St and 188A St. The suspect is described as Caucasian, 30 to 40-years-old, approximately 5’10”, with greying hair. He was wearing dark clothes.
Investigators are looking into whether the three incidents could be connected.
Anyone with any information about these incidents is asked to call the Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
