A residential fire in Surrey collapsed the roof of a two-storey home this afternoon, but resulted in no injuries.
It happened in the 6200 block of 132B street just after 3 p.m. According to Surrey Fire Department, it was a residential housefire, but the exact cause isn’t known yet.
The fire moved upward, eventually collapsing the roof of the house. Eight people lived in the building, but all were either outside of the house at the time, or escaped without injuries.
The fire has since been put out and the cause is now under investigation.
