Viva Italia! How would you like to take a trip to Italy – without having to leave Halifax? You can with a wine education workshop offered by Autour du Vin. At 6:45am Genevieve Loughlin and Tracey Dobbin give us a preview of their class on how to better appreciate the wines of Italy.
And we’ll tell you about an unusual fundraiser happening in Bedford and Halifax this weekend. Adept Tattoos will be offering tattoos at both of its locations – and all of the proceeds will go to support two local charities that work with homeless animals. Ink for a good cause Friday at 7:15am.
This Saturday hundreds of people will gather at the World Trade and Convention Centre between 9 a.m and 5 p.m. to spin, groove and stretch to raise funds for GoodLife Kids Foundation. The funds will be used to support programs that help kids be physically active. At 7:45am we’ll talk with the organizers of Spin4Kids Halifax and get all the details on how Halifax fits in to this nationwide initiative.
