TORONTO — Hot off their performance at the Sunday’s Grammy Awards, the members of AC/DC are hitting the road.

The Australian rock band announced Wednesday details of its Rock or Bust World Tour, which includes several Canadian dates.

AC/DC will play in Quebec City on Aug. 28 followed by concerts at Montreal’s Olympic Stadium on Aug. 31, Ottawa’s TD Place on Sept. 3, Moncton’s Magnetic Hill on Sept. 5, Toronto’s Downsview Park on Sept. 10 and Edmonton’s Commonwealth Stadium on Sept. 20.

The last Canadian stop is Sept. 22 at BC Place in Vancouver, the city where AC/DC recorded the new album Rock or Bust.

AC/DC hasn’t toured since 2010. Last year, the band lost guitarist Malcolm Young, who is battling dementia, and drummer Phil Rudd, who is facing drug charges and a charge of “threatening to kill” in New Zealand.

Young’s nephew Stevie Young has replaced him in the band and Chris Slade, AC/DC’s drummer from 1989 to 1994, will play drums on the tour.

AC/DC was formed in 1973 and went on to sell more than 200 million albums. Among its iconic hits are “Back in Black” and “You Shook Me All Night Long.”

Rock or Bust was recorded last summer at Warehouse Studio in Vancouver and co-produced by Canadian Mike Fraser.

Tickets for the tour go on sale Feb. 16.
