RAW VIDEO: Crime scene on Ste-Catherine and Stanley St.
MONTREAL – Police are investigating the second homicide of 2015.
At around 3:50 a.m., a man was found with stab wounds to his upper body in a commercial building at the corner of Ste-Catherine and Stanley St.
Paramedics tried to resuscitate him, to no avail. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
The 26-year-old was attending a private party.
Constable Jean-Pierre Brabant said investigators are currently on-site and have cordoned off the area.
“It’s too early to tell if it’s gang-related,” Brabant told Global News.
“We have spoke to the 40 people who attended the party to find out the circumstances that led to the homicide.”
